On October 16, China Coal Group welcomed a new delegation of business representatives from South Africa. The delegation focused on visiting the Group’s intelligent equipment manufacturing workshop and digital product exhibition hall, where they conducted an in-depth inspection of various mining equipment, including mining trucks and hydraulic supports. Ultimately, both parties signed a procurement contract, marking another significant breakthrough for the Group in the South African market.
During the visit, Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, together with Zhang Wen, General Manager of the Cross-Border E-Commerce Company, accompanied the delegation throughout the tour. They provided a detailed introduction to the workflow and technological innovations of the intelligent production lines. In the digital product exhibition hall, the South African guests gained an in-depth understanding of the Group’s latest achievements in integrating artificial intelligence and digital twin technologies into various types of mining equipment through an immersive experience.
During the discussion session, both parties held pragmatic exchanges on topics such as the intelligent upgrading of mining equipment and the development of an overseas after-sales service system. Mr. Li stated that the Group has always regarded intelligent manufacturing as its core driving force, continuously promoting the practical implementation of new-quality productivity in the field of mining equipment. This philosophy was highly recognized and appreciated by the visiting business representatives.
